Children explore and learn within integrated cultural programs at Issaquah Children’s Academy.

Your child has the opportunity to participate in weekly Spanish, Art, Music & Movement and Sign Language classes enhancing their early childhood development. Issaquah Children’s Academy’s highly trained specialists provide a hands-on learning environment where children enjoy learning.

Specialists may be available at a minimum of one time per week for one half hour of classroom time. These programs are designed to provide an opportunity for your child to experience an additional learning enhancement to our already well rounded curriculum. Unlike other childcare and daycare, Issaquah Children’s Academy requires no additional charges for these Integrated Cultural Programs.

Spanish

Learning a second lanquage not only allows children access to other cultures and traditions, it also strengthens their knowledge and ability to use their own lanquage effectively.

Art

Art program allows childrent to explore their own artistic creativity in a nurturing environment where expression of self is celebrated.

Music and Movement

Music and Movement will allow children to enjoy singing and dancing through the The Musik Nest.
Children participate in games and activities that improve physical strength and coordination.

Sign Lanquage

Sign Lanquage will allow children to work on fine motor and dexterity skills. Children use the right and left hemisphere of the brain simultaneously. Infants are enabled to communicate clearly their wants and needs through signing.
